Become the leader YOU would follow

Join us at this one-day leadership symposium that will provide an opportunity for rising leaders at the University of Kentucky to develop and apply their leadership skills at an individual and community level.

We will hear from two keynote speakers: Derrick Ramsey (Special Assistant to the President of Strategic Partnerships at KCTCS) and Jim Gray (KY Secretary of Transportation). Lunch is on us!

Attendees will have a chance to attend exclusive workshops led by counselors within the Lewis Honors Center Personal Development, which they will select during check-in.

There will also be panels featuring diverse leaders at UK and in the greater Lexington area.

Lastly, attendees will participate in a strengths self-assessment followed by breakout sessions led by current first-year Singletary Scholars.

Throughout the event, there will be time to ask questions and network with students and professionals, so we encourage you to make the most out of it! This event is made for students, by students.
