The day was unforgettable, filled with inspiration, growth, and leadership at the Second Annual Lewis Honors College Leadership Conference!

On Saturday, February 22nd, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, the event took place at the Lewis Honors College (420 Hilltop Avenue, Lexington, KY 40508).

Hosted by the Singletary Scholar Class of 2028, this one-day event was packed with incredible insights, powerful stories, and actionable strategies from a diverse group of local leaders who are making an impact in their fields.

The 2025 LHC Leadership Conference provided an opportunity to discover who attendees are as leaders and learn how to harness their unique strengths to lead with confidence and purpose. Participants dived into hands-on workshops designed to challenge, inspire, and elevate their leadership skills to the next level.

Whether they were just starting their leadership journey or looking to sharpen their abilities, attendees left the event feeling energized, empowered, and ready to lead from within!

Unleashing the Leader Within: Discovering Your Inner Power

The one-day leadership symposium provided an opportunity for up-and-coming leaders at the University of Kentucky to develop and apply their leadership skills at both an individual and community level.

Attendees heard from keynote speaker Jacqueline Coleman, the 58th Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky. Lunch was catered by Bella Notte, with a limited menu available at the event.

Participants had the chance to attend exclusive workshops led by Maddie Duff (Empowering Student Leadership), Emily Kay Downey (Small Town Leadership), Dr. Tara Tuttle (Unconscious Bias & Leadership), Danielle Bozarth (Community Leadership in Action), and others.

Throughout the event, there was time to ask questions and network with students and professionals, and attendees were encouraged to make the most out of these opportunities. This event was made for students, by students.
